Presbyterian Volunteer Villages

Presbyterian Volunteer Villages provide a predictable, safe, and sanitary environment for volunteer groups where they can live in community while serving others. The vision of the village is to create community among all the volunteers present in the village each week. Community is created one week at a time, facilitated by a village manager, who is also a volunteer.

PDA is currently sponsoring Presbyterian Volunteer Villages in Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. Explore information about each village site, and learn how your volunteer team can help!

Additional information about the Presbyterian Volunteer Villages can be found in this downloadable village brochure.

Note:
Volunteers who are scheduled to go to New Orleans through the Olive Tree Presbyterian Volunteer Village in the near future and those participating in the gulf coast Youth Weeks in Houma will continue to work on 2005 hurricane recovery projects. PDA is not requesting work teams for oil spill clean up.
