Silliman Water, a ministry in partnership with Advent Presbyterian Church of Cordova, Tennessee (near Memphis), has been at the forefront of relief efforts for flood victims from Tropical Storm Sendong.
Philippines Typhoon Washi/Tropical Storm Sendong – initial report on PDA response to communities where the storm struck the southern Philippines over December 15-18, 2011. Thousands of people were caught unaware as the course of the storm followed a more southerly trajectory than most tropical storms and typhoons in the Philippines.
