The Mission Program Grants in partnership with synods and presbyteries provides short-term, start-up funds for New Church Development and support to presbyteries in their work of continually transforming existing congregations. Walton Award nomination deadline
Nominations need to be filed for each nominee and
received in the Office of Mission Program Grants by January 31 of each year. The 2012 MDRC
review date will be March 14.
Presbytery Grant for Congregrational Transformation
This grant is intended to provide funding to presbyteries in support of their efforts to develop a process for helping congregations to begin and continue a transformational way of life.
Annual progress report
The purpose of this report is to track a project’s progress during its funding cycle and to gather and share insights that can be used to help and inform other projects.
First-Level New Church Grant Application
New church development is the faithful discernment of God’s leading and implementation of God’s mission in the establishment of a new ministry. It is a response to the needs of a new group of persons, with the ultimate goal to grow a viable and sustainable new congregation.
Second-Level New Church Grant Application
Second–Level New Church Grant proposals will be considered only after the approval and completion of First-Level New Church Grants.
