We have answered a call to a year of mission service with the Young Adult Volunteer (YAV) program (PC USA). We will be serving in Lima, Peru in coordination with the local Presbyterian churches (specifically Km.11 & Km. 18). Sarah will be working at the Ann Sullivan Center, which is a school for children with Down syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, etc. The YAV program is an opportunity for young men and women to serve for one year in communities of need in the United States and around the world, exploring and growing in their Christian faith. We are excited to share their gifts and to learn from our Peruvian sisters and brothers during this amazing experience.
The Young Adult Volunteer program is a year-long service program for young adults between ages 19 and 30. Read more about the YAV program here
