I enjoy my life with my friends, and I will try everything once—including skydiving and strange foods such as crickets—but I also enjoy quieter things, such as reading, researching strange things and wasting my time having fun at coffee shops or theaters. I have traveled a bit to Ukraine, Mexico, Chile, Japan and Romania, but I wish to travel more, and for longer periods of time. I am looking forward to my time with people in Chicago, where I will be working with an organization called Sarah’s Circle, which provides services for homeless women.
The Young Adult Volunteer program is a year-long service program for young adults between ages 19 and 30. Read more about the YAV program here
