Ho and Min Young Ban

The Rev. Ho and Min Young Ban have been reappointed for a second term in China. They were invited by Balhe College in Shenyang, China. Ho is a computer science teacher at Northeast Seminary, Balhe College, and Min Young provides ministry from their home. Ho teaches computer science and works with Northeast Seminary as well as assisting local churches.
Ho was the manager of the business department at U-Lim Fil District Co. in Seoul, Korea, before coming to the United States. In Indianapolis, Indiana, he was president of Oriental Inn Inc. and president of Hoban Investment, Inc. before going to Bethany College in Dothan, Alabama, to receive his B.Th. degree. He then went to McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, Illinois, where he earned his M.Div. Following seminary, Ho was on staff at the Korean Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis.
Min Young is a housewife and mother. She is a native of Korea and graduate of Seoul Women’s High School in Seoul, Korea.
Ho is a clergy member of the Midwest Hamni Presbytery and Min Young is a member at Canaan Presbyterian Church in Glenview, Illinois. They have a son, John, who attends college in the United States.
