How to connect with a mission worker
To support mission workers as a congregation:
World Mission continues to advance as the preferred mission-sending agency for hundreds of Presbyterian congregations across the country, but relies on the generous, over-and-above giving from our congregations and individuals in order to send and support these committed mission workers. If your congregation would like to become a sending congregation for one of our almost 200 mission workers around the world—please contact Bruce Whearty or Chris Roseland.
To support mission workers with your financial gift:

Three critical global issues for World Mission
Read about the three critical global issues that global partners, mission personnel, and Presbyterians across the United States have asked World Mission to address: the root causes of poverty, especially as it impacts women and children; working to share the good news of Jesus Christ; and working for reconciliation among cultures of violence, including our own. Presbyterian World Mission Strategic Direction
In February 2010 the General Assembly Mission Council (GAMC) of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) adopted a “strategic direction” for its Presbyterian World Mission over the next three to five years.
The mission statement of the new strategy is “to engage with U.S. Presbyterians and global partners for faithful and effective participation in God’s mission in a globalized world, growing together as communities of mission practice.”
