Principal for RECONCILE Peace Institute, Sudan
RECONCILE was formed by the New Sudan Council of Churches to help the southern Sudanese rebuild their society following the peace accord signed January 2005. Its mission is peace building through providing training church and community leaders in trauma healing, civic education and conflict transformation/reconciliation at the community level and at the RECONCILE Peace Institute. Revs. Nancy and Shelvis Smith-Mather have been called to serve in this position.
